RADIO SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Empire Broadcasting System, Inc., is currently accepting resumes for the position of SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE at WINX FM for present or future opportunities. The WINX sales office is in Easton. A SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE is responsible for outside sales of radio time to clients on radio stations.

Requirements:

*Candidate should be aggressive and self-motivated
*Candidate must be creative
*Candidate should have knowledge/understanding of sales process
*Media sales experience is a plus, but not required
*Knowledge of business environments of radio station coverage areas... the Upper Eastern Shore of Maryland/Delmarva Peninsula including Talbot/Queen Annes/Dorchester and neighboring counties
*Ability to multi-task a variety of projects, including selling new accounts, servicing existing ones, executing client promotions as assigned, etc.
*Must be 21 years of age and have a valid Maryland Driver's license
*College graduate preferred, but a minimum of a High School Diploma is required
*An understanding of Customer-Focused Selling is important in succeeding at Empire Broadcasting System, Inc.

Responsibilities:

*Candidate must develop new business and new accounts
*Candidate must service and grow existing clients on current list
*Candidate required to do cold-call canvassing, setting face-to-face appointments
*Creativity in approaching clients with ideas to use radio
*Candidate must develop sales presentations to use in selling station virtues
*Attendance at client promotions/on-site events required and will require weekend/evening time
*Additional other duties as deemed necessary in the fulfillment of the job; responsibilities not limited to those specifically noted above
